Return Instructions

With Receipt or Packing List

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, most items may be returned in its original condition and packaging within 180 days of the purchase date for a full refund, less the shipping costs where applicable. See Return Exceptions for our policy on specific items.

Without Receipt

Misplaced your Receipt? We are here to help! If your purchase was made within the past year, we’ll try to find record of it using any of the following original purchase methods:

  1. Credit/Debit Card
  2. Merchandise Credit Number
  3. Gift Card Number
  4. Checking Account Number
  5. Order Number - Not available for in store Return

Items that are new and unopened may be accepted and will receive current selling price in the form of a Merchandise Credit. Returns of open or used items without a receipt will not be accepted.

Note: Whenever we issue a Merchandise Credit, we’ll ask you to provide a government-issued ID. Additional research may be required for items that can be returned without a receipt.

Return Exceptions

  • Summer and Holiday Seasonal Items

    Can be exchanged or returned within 30 days of purchase. Examples include but are not limited to patio furniture, gazebos, grills, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Harvest/Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s products.

  • AS-IS and "Beyond Deal" Items - In Store Only

    Can be exchanged or return within 30 days of purchase.

  • Electrics

    Can be exchanged or returned within 90 days of pruchase. Examples include but are not limited to small kitchen appliances, robotic appliances, robotic vacuums, garment care and personal care appliances.

  • Air Mattresses

    New and unopened air mattresses may be returned within 90 days of purchase. Opened air mattresses may only be exchanged for a similar item within 90 days of purchase.

  • Gift Cards

    Cannot be exchanged for returned.

Return Through Mail

Simply complete the return form information below and use the return address label provided on the front of this form. Your credit will be credited within two billing cycles.

Return to Distribution Center

  1. Detach the top of this invoice and keep it for your records.
  2. Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging.
  3. Complete the return reason questionnaire below and place it inside the package.
  4. Before sending your return shipment, please remove all extra labels from the outside of the package.
  5. Return your package via insured carrier service to:

All returns will be credited to the original form of payment

  • To exchange your purchase for another item, follow the return instructions above.

Purchases made from the website may be returned to a store location and must be accompanied by the order form. Place item securely in its original package. Fill out the reason code for your return on the form. Bring the package and the form to your nearest Christmas Tree Shops or andThat! store. Visit www.christmastreeshops.com for store locations and hours.

Online purchases ONLY: Call for oversized, damaged or defective items, including carton damage within 30 days after an item is received. Have this information handy from your confirmation email: Order number, item number, tracking number, your email address and your phone number
